Today we went to the zoo ! It was much better than I expected. Mental weather too, I finally look like I've been on holiday; the sun has attacked me. Lots of varieties of animals. Some highlights included the elephants. One used to work at a circus so her trunk doesn't completely work or bend properly. Sad stuff. Cheetahs are also awesome, as were the other big cats, like lions, tigers, snow leopards(!). Mongooses ! Baby giraffe ! There were silverback gorillas which were very human, eerily so.
Tomorrow is our last full day so we're planning to go to the Nature & Science Museum and a nice restaurant in the mountains at night.

4th July 2010 - 3am
So we're back in England and the holiday is over. Back to work on Monday and everything is back to normal. I have the worst jetlag. I also have slight post-holiday blues, but it was to be expected I suppose. I will miss the climate, the accomodation and then company (and Biggles !) and the feeling of somewhat being a novelty. I did miss english things however, like our comedy, our public transport and our grumpy sales people.
This journal was not amazing haha. I missed out a lot of things, like my actual feelings, and the people we met which was a bit stupid of me seeing as how they were the most interesting aspect. I should probably do an entry on them. I also missed out the food which is also stupid, seeing as how it was amazing and considering how many photographs I took of it all.
